In the far future, Earth’s finest pilot, call-sign HIGHBALL, finds himself caught between two alien races: the arrogant, cerebral Mentok and the deadly warriors of the Q’k’q’rr’kkk. But Highball has a deadly weakness: He can only hit the target when he’s stone drunk. In his quest to save the galaxy, Highball faces off against a fierce but alluring bird-warrior, a disturbingly racist A.I., a crypto-obsessed fellow pilot—and, of course, his own shameful inadequacies.
Featuring art by the massively talented Fred Harper, colors by Lee Loughridge, and lettering by Rob Steen. Who, as I write this, I'm about to go have a few pints with. Comics!
